These are full wordings of some of the primary pieces of legislation that regulate offshore company formations, operation and management in the Belize, and the related areas of offshore financial services, like registered agents, banks, trust companies, insurers and offshore investment funds.

Belize International Business Companies Act (as revised in 2000)

This is the main and the most important law, which currently regulates the registration, status and operation of the International Business Companies in Belize. This is a revised edition of the law, prepared by the Law Revision Commissioner under the authority of the Law Revision Act, Chapter 3 of the Laws of Belize, Revised Edition 1980 - 1990.

Belize Offshore Banking Act 2000

This is the main law that regulates the licensing and operation of offshore banks in Belize, including Class A and Class B (captive) offshore banks operating from within Belize.
